The Labyrinth of Myclasia
A downloadable tiny journaling RPG
The Kingdom of Myclasia was a paradise. Built inside of a colossal labyrinth, it was filled with wondrous sights, fresh food and water abundant.
People traveled freely and found themselves at their destinations faster than physically possible.
Until it found itself cursed.
Now, the labyrinth has many entrances, but no exits. Those who enter together are leagues apart. Travelers encountering each other find themselves separated in minutes, never to meet again. The sights and nourishment are still there, but they serve as the lure to its trap.
It's been one hundred years, yet they say the King of Myclasia still wanders these twisting halls...
The Kingdom of Myclasia is a short journaling game that can fit on a business card. Made for one player, but has an alternate that supports two.
Discover the reason that you find yourself in the labyrinth and see how your perspective shifts as you spend days, months, and years in the labyrinth. Will the lack of lasting human connection wear you down, or will the wonders that lie inside surpass the life you had on the outside?
The download includes the front and back images, the text of the cards, and a sample playthrough of the game that I did, although I recommend that you don't let that taint your experience before you play it.
